How to tell you have bed bugs
Almost nobody finds bed bugs by seeing one. They feed at night and spend the day pressed into seams, joints and screw holes within about two metres of where someone sleeps. By the time an adult is visible in the open, the population has usually been building for weeks.
Bites alone are not proof. People react very differently, and some do not react at all, so a household can have an established problem while only one person shows marks. What settles it is physical evidence on the bed itself.

How many visits does bed bug treatment take?

Do I have to throw out my mattress?
Usually no. Encasement is normally the better outcome and it keeps the cost down. If a mattress is genuinely beyond saving we will say so plainly rather than treating something that should be replaced.
Can I stay in the property during treatment?
Yes, once treated surfaces are dry. Your technician gives you the re-entry time for each room, which is typically a few hours. Households with infants or pets get specific instructions rather than general advice.
Is the treatment safe around children and pets?
The products are registered by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency and applied at label rate into cracks and voids, not across open surfaces. You will be told which areas to keep clear and for how long.
Do you offer heat treatment?

Will my neighbours or landlord find out?
