The harvest cycle drives everything
A farmyard is a concentrated food and shelter source surrounded by open land. While the crop is standing, the rodent population lives in the field. When the fields are cleared, that population moves toward the yard within weeks.
Everything else follows from that. A programme put in place after the move has already happened is remedial. One put in place before it is preventive, and considerably cheaper.

Doors, thresholds, service penetrations and vents are sealed on the buildings that matter most.

Get ahead of the move, not behind it
The most expensive rodent damage on a farm is rarely the grain. It is the wiring in a shop, the insulation in a livestock building, and the machinery that will not start in spring because something nested in it over winter.
All of that is preventable with sealing and a monitoring cycle that starts before harvest finishes. Waiting until you see droppings in the shop means the population is already established across the yard.

When should a farm programme start?
Before harvest finishes, not after. Once the fields are cleared the movement toward the yard happens quickly, and getting ahead of it is far cheaper than dealing with damage to wiring and stored product.
Can you work around livestock?
Yes. Product choice and station siting change on a livestock property, and we will walk the yard with you before placing anything.
Do you provide records for assurance schemes?
Yes. Each visit produces a written report per building, which is what most assurance and insurance requirements ask for.
Is this a contract or a one-off?
Either. Most farms are better served by a seasonal cycle, but we will do a single visit if that is what you want and tell you honestly what it will and will not achieve.

What about birds in the quonset?
Bird proofing is available and often worth doing at the same time as the rodent work, since the access equipment is already on site.
