Cockroach control in Regina
Year-round cockroach control for apartments, restaurants, commercial kitchens and homes. German cockroaches breed continuously inside any heated Saskatchewan building, so winter is not a reprieve.
What you get
- Free inspection before any quote
- Gel bait and crack-and-crevice work, no broadcast spraying
- Monitors placed and read on the follow-up
- Sanitation plan specific to your building
- Report suitable for a health inspection
How to tell you have cockroaches
Cockroaches are nocturnal and spend the day pressed into warm, humid voids: motor housings, hinge gaps, the underside of a sink cabinet, the cavity behind a dishwasher. You will normally find the evidence weeks before you see a live insect.
Seeing one in the open during daylight is not a lucky early warning. It usually means the harbourage is full and the population has been pushed out into places it would not normally go.
What to look for
- Small dark specks around hinges, motor housings and cupboard corners
- A live insect in the open during the day
- An oily, musty odour near the sink or behind appliances
- Egg cases wedged into cracks behind fittings
- Smear marks along the top edge of skirting or shelving
How we treat cockroaches
German cockroaches develop resistance to repeat spraying, and spraying a kitchen contaminates surfaces without reaching the harbourage. The approach that works is bait, placed where they actually live.
Harbourage inspection
We open kick plates, check motor housings, sink cabinets and shared risers to find where the population actually sits, rather than treating the room it was seen in.
Gel bait application
PMRA-registered gel placed in dozens of small precise deposits at the harbourage. Insects feed, return to the void and the effect carries through the population.
Crack-and-crevice treatment
Targeted application into voids and service penetrations only. Food preparation surfaces are not treated, which is why the method suits working kitchens.
Monitoring and follow-up
Numbered monitors go down and are read on the return visit. That gives an objective count rather than an opinion about whether it worked.
What you can change
- Fix dripping taps and clear standing water overnight
- Degrease behind and beneath appliances, not just around them
- Store food and pet food in sealed containers
- Empty bins nightly and clean the bin housing itself
- Report the problem to your building manager early
Sanitation decides whether it stays gone
Cockroaches need water more urgently than food. A property with a slow leak under the sink will re-establish a population no matter how well it is baited, because the treatment removes the insects but not the reason they chose the room.
We give you a short, specific list after the inspection rather than a generic hygiene lecture. In most homes it is three or four changes, and they are the difference between one treatment cycle and an annual problem.
What affects the price
Cockroach jobs vary more by building than by pest. A single home is straightforward, while a unit in a block that shares plumbing voids with a dozen others is a different piece of work.
- Whether the property is standalone or shares voids with other units
- How long the population has been established
- Access to kick plates, voids and service risers
- Volume of clutter and stored goods to work around
- Whether the site is a food premises needing documentation
- Frequency, if a scheduled programme is the right answer

Cockroach questions Regina customers ask
Is treatment safe in a working kitchen?
Yes. We use gel bait and crack-and-crevice application rather than a broadcast spray, so preparation surfaces are not treated. Your technician confirms clearance times for your specific site.
Why do they keep coming back in my apartment?
Almost always because they are travelling between units through shared plumbing and electrical voids. Treating a single unit rarely holds. We will tell you when the building, rather than the unit, needs the programme.
How long until they are gone?
A typical residential job shows a sharp drop within two weeks and reaches zero across the follow-up cycle. Heavier commercial sites take longer and usually run on a scheduled programme.
Can I use retail sprays in the meantime?
Please do not. Retail sprays are repellent, which scatters the population deeper into voids and into neighbouring rooms, and makes the professional treatment slower and more expensive.
Do cockroaches survive a Saskatchewan winter?
German cockroaches live entirely indoors and breed year-round in heated buildings. Cold weather outside makes no difference to a population living behind your dishwasher.
Will you provide paperwork for a health inspection?
Yes. Every commercial visit produces a written report with the device map and any corrective actions, kept on site for inspection.
