Why acreages are a different job
On an acreage the pressure never stops. Open land, shelter belts and outbuildings supply a continuous population, so a one-off interior treatment is spent within a season and you are back where you started.
The other difference is scope. A town property is one building. An acreage is a house, a shop, a garage, often a barn and a couple of sheds, and pests move between all of them freely.

Is treatment safe around pets and livestock?
Yes, when it is specified properly. Station placement and product choice change on a property with animals, and your technician will walk the siting with you before anything is placed.
How often should an acreage be serviced?
Most do best on a seasonal cycle: an exclusion and perimeter visit before freeze-up, and a check in spring. Properties near cropland or grain storage often need more.
Can you do just the house?
We can, but on an acreage it rarely solves the problem for long. The shop and garage are usually the route in, and we will tell you that rather than take the smaller job quietly.
What about skunks under the deck?
Humane one-way exclusion after checking for dependent young, then screening so the space is no longer available.
Do you handle bats in an old barn?
Yes. Barn roosts are common and need the same legal timing and one-way exclusion as a house roost.
